ENGLAND WINNER: West Street Salisbury from The Collicott Collection
32 West Street Salisbury is a newly launched, family-run holiday cottage created by Jack and Naomi, who transformed a neglected property into a stylish, welcoming retreat while balancing military commitments and raising their young son.
WALES WINNER: Cambrian Cottages
Cambrian Cottages has quickly established itself as a leader in sustainable self-catering, transforming a Victorian barn into three luxury eco-apartments that prove environmental responsibility and exceptional quality go hand in hand.
GREAT BRITISH HOLIDAY LEGEND (GUEST AWARD): 2026 WINNERS
Celebrating the guests who make this sector what it is, these are the families who return year after year, marking life’s milestones and building traditions that span generations.
ENGLAND WINNER: Howscales Cottages
Chris and Kathleen have been visiting Howscales since 1997, travelling more than 300 miles each year to the Eden Valley to reconnect with family, friends and a place they describe as their “Happy Place.”
ENLAND WINNER: Our Bench
Jackie, Alf and Chris have been returning to Our Bench twice a year for many years, making more than 20 visits to the New Forest. For Chris, who is disabled, the familiarity of returning to the same place provides comfort, confidence and independence.
WALES WINNER: Hot Tub on the Hill
Amanda has been a loyal returning guest since her first visit in February 2021, arriving during a storm but quickly finding what she now calls her “home from home” and “happy place.” She returns almost every month, bringing family and friends, recommending the cottage to others and introducing many new guests.

ENGLAND WINNER: North Hayne Farm Cottages
Cheryl and Roger’s journey began in 2004 when, alongside Cheryl’s mum Jenny and stepfather Reg, they bought a run-down complex of seven stone cottages on the brink of closure. Every family member played a vital role. Jenny was the welcoming heart of the business and bookkeeper, Reg the farmer, mechanic and fixer, Roger managed compliance, maintenance and infrastructure, while ex-teacher Cheryl developed the family-friendly holiday experience.
WALES WINNER: Seaview Apartments
Seaview Apartments is a fourth-generation family business that has welcomed guests to Broad Haven, Pembrokeshire, for more than 60 years. Founded by Arthur and Myfanwy Mock, the business has overcome personal tragedy, evolved through each generation and remains rooted in family values, with Susie Mock now leading the business alongside her sons Nathan and Jason
WALES WINNER: Maesydderwen Holiday Cottages
Angela, her husband and mother founded Maesydderwen Holiday Cottages 12 years ago with her husband and mother, transforming seven cottages by hand while welcoming guests throughout the renovation. Her mother remained at the heart of the business until her passing last year, remembered fondly by guests for her beautiful floral displays and warm hospitality.
